Tasting notes
In this great vintage, we selected a Reserve, from the oldest vineyards in Rocche dell’Annunziata (more than 40 years old).
Bright garnet red, it has an expansive, complex bouquet showing spicy and balsamic notes that merge with fruity and liquorice overtones.
On the mouth it is full-bodied, with robust tannins, but elegant and balanced.
This will be a wine with a very long cellar life; pairing is recommended with red meat and game dishes, decanting the wine several hours before serving so it can offer up all its fragrance.
