LANGHE DOC NEBBIOLO 2016 – 92/100 A nebbiolo that tastes more like Barolo with its intense fruit and chewy tannins. It’s full and structured. Dusty tannins. Serious. Still needs another year to soften. Try in 2021.
BAROLO DOCG 2012 RISERVA ROCCHE DELL’ANNUNZIATA – 91/100 Aromas of rose petal, leather and earthy underbrush emerge from the glass. The solid chewy palate offers dried black cherry, star anise and clove alongside fine-grained tannins. Drink now-2029.
