BAROLO 2008: 95 points – “SPECTATOR SELECTION”
This is really singing today, packed with licorice, leather, cherry, tobacco and menthol aromas and flavors. The tannins are rounding out, and though not a powerhouse, this still shows persistence and an aftertaste of spice and licorice. Approachable now, but should evolve even more with time. Drink now through 2028.
